RWS is an experimental teleoperation system for controlling physical RC machinery.

• Physical Risk: You are controlling real-world hardware. All inputs result in immediate physical actions. Use of the system involves inherent physical risks. Users must operate with caution at all times.
• Rules of Engagement: No intentional damage, reckless driving, or misuse of audio features. You must follow all system warnings and automated failsafes.
• Zero-Tolerance Recording Policy: Capturing video, audio, or screenshots of the live feed is strictly prohibited to protect third-party privacy. Violations will result in immediate account termination and potential legal action.
• Liability: RWS is not liable for damages caused by misuse, latency, connection loss, or system errors, except in cases of gross negligence or intent. Users may be held legally and financially liable for damages resulting from intentional misuse or gross negligence during operation.

We process only strictly necessary data (Art. 6(1)(b) & (f) GDPR) to safely operate the physical fleet:

• Account & Telemetry: Email, username, securely hashed passwords, and hardware control inputs.
• Worker ID: Used exclusively for routing and latency optimization.
• Live Streams: Video and audio are transmitted in real time and are not permanently stored. Users acknowledge that third parties may be present within the physical environment and agree not to process or misuse such data.
• Your Rights: You have the right to request access, correction, or deletion of your personal data at any time.

By accessing the platform, applying for a /worker credential, or entering the /work environment, you agree to the following binding terms.

RWS is an experimental system in active development. Access may be interrupted, restricted, or terminated at any time. Use of the system may involve inherent physical risks. Users must operate with caution at all times. No uptime or availability guarantees are provided.

RWS enables the remote control of physical RC machinery. Users acknowledge that they are interacting with real hardware in a physical environment. Digital inputs yield immediate real-world consequences.

Users agree to:

• Cause no intentional damage to vehicles, the environment, or infrastructure.
• Avoid reckless operation (e.g., full-speed collisions, deliberate misuse).
• Follow system warnings and automated failsafe triggers immediately.
• Respect all physical and digital operational boundaries.

The platform utilizes bidirectional audio. Users must NOT harass, insult, or threaten others; play copyrighted or illegal audio; or use the system for unauthorized surveillance or monitoring.

• RWS Liability: RWS assumes no liability for damages caused by misuse, latency, connection loss, operator error, or unexpected hardware behavior, except in cases of gross negligence or intent.
• User Liability: Users may be held liable for damages resulting from intentional misuse or gross negligence during operation.

Accounts are limited to one per user. Credentials must be kept secure. Account sharing is prohibited. RWS reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts and restrict access without notice for violating these terms.

RWS processes data strictly under EU GDPR regulations.

• Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR: Contract performance (Account creation, session authentication).
• Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR: Legitimate interest (System stability, routing, and latency optimization).

• Account Data: Email address, Username, and Passwords. Passwords are stored exclusively as secure hashes using industry-standard secure hashing methods and are never stored in plain text.
• Session & Telemetry Data: Login timestamps, session duration, steering inputs, throttle commands, and hardware state data.
• Leaderboard Data: Username and performance metrics.

A temporary 'Worker ID' is assigned to each session to ensure optimal routing, load balancing, and minimal latency. This processing is based on legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR), as it is essential for the safe operation of physical machinery.

Audio and video streams are processed in real time and are not stored permanently, unless required for abuse investigation or legal obligations. Users acknowledge that third parties may be present within the physical environment and agree not to process or misuse such data. Microphone access is disabled by default and requires explicit user permission via the browser.

We do NOT sell personal data or share it with third parties for marketing. Data may only be disclosed if required by law, to defend the network against cyberattacks, or to enforce legal claims.

Only strictly necessary cookies (session authentication, worker routing) are used. No tracking or marketing cookies are implemented.

Account data is stored while the account is active. Session and telemetry data are deleted within a reasonable timeframe or upon user request, unless legal obligations require longer storage.
